It a is parent hospital of nursing college.
It very old famous hospital for maternity. As we flip back our history book, way back in 1911
St. Joseph’s Hospital, Nellore was founded. Moved by deep concern and love for the poor, sick and suffering, Sr. Louise van de a Dutch sister by birth became the pioneer of this institution. She devoted all her time, energy and Talent to attend to the needs of the people of Nellore. From a humble beginning of 2 bedded maternity centre, the institution has grown into a large mansion of 200 bed hospital, with different specialties.
